Men Having Babies

Partner Spotlight

One of the ways Alcea demonstrates in action two pillars of our model – expansion of accessibility and inclusivity – is via our participation in the Men Having Babies GPAPs I and II programs. In addition, we give ALL MHB participants, $1500 off our agency fee. Over half our staff identify as something other than heterosexual, and inclusive language and practice is just *how* we operate.

Men Having Babies

The international nonprofit Men Having Babies (MHB) is dedicated to providing gay men with educational and financial support to achieve parenthood through surrogacy. MHB’s annual conferences, workshops and webinars provide over two thousand attendees worldwide with unbiased guidance and access to a wide range of relevant service providers. The organization’s Gay Parenting Assistance Program (GPAP) annually provides hundreds of couples with over a million dollars worth of cash grants, discounts and free services from over seventy providers.

MHB Benefits Program

MHB’s Membership Benefits Program (MBP) offers a wide range of peer guidance options and access to exclusive discounts from over 50 surrogacy providers. Our extensive online resources include FAQs, a video library, Ask the Expert articles, and a comprehensive surrogacy and gay parenting research library. We offer an unparalleled comprehensive surrogacy providers directory, including peer ratings and reviews of agencies, clinics and law firms. Our Advisory Board of leading surrogacy professionals provides valuable input to improve our programs and leads the provision of expert advice to members, and our framework for Ethical Surrogacy has received endorsements from LGBT parenting organizations worldwide.
